10CFR830.120 Self, Independent, and Management Assessments
Course No. 125
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
For all DOE contractors and support contractors concerned with and responsible for the development, indoctrination, maintenance, and assessment requirements to assure the effective implementation of 10CFR830.120-122, that affect, or may affect, nuclear safety of DOE nuclear facilities.
COURSE PURPOSE:
To provide a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of the 10CFR830.121 Quality Assurance Program (QAP) requirements. Emphasis is placed on contractor responsibilities for submitting the QAP to DOE for approval, contents and development of the QAP, defining key roles and responsibilities, interfacing techniques, and conduct of work.
Effective strategies for the successful implementation and maintenance of these requirements are presented in detailed. Understanding and fulfilling the self, independent, and management assessment responsibilities of the QAP are a vital part of the course exercises and workshops utilized within this class.

FEE:
$885.00 per person, which includes all student course materials and hand-outs, copies of 10CFR830.120-122 (Subpart A) and 10CFR830.200-205 (Subpart B), assessment checklists and sample protocol, continental breakfast and refreshments, and certificate of successful completion.
SUBSTITUTIONS/CANCELLATIONS:
There is no charge for sending a substitution if you are unable to attend the course.
Cancellations received 10 days or less prior to the course start date are subject to the full course fee.
Substitutions and cancellations may be made by phone, fax, email, or mail (if received within 10 days of the course start date.)
DAILY SCHEDULE:
8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Wednesday. There will be four(4) 10-minute daily breaks 9:20am, 10:30am, 2:20pm, and 3:30 pm. Lunch will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm each day.
This course is available for presentation at your facility. A savings of up to 60% can be realized for in-house courses, "specifically tailored to your organizations unique requirements."
