COURSE PURPOSE:
This course provides the comprehensive methods and techniques for the cost effective approaches for conducting and developing your organization's audit program for ISO 14001. Emphasis is placed on the guidance within the ISO 19011 QMS/EMS audit standard.

COURSE CURRICULUM:
Participants are provided extensive overview and interpretation ISO 14001 for audit of the EMS. Key objectives include the development of the EMS audit program, including effective techniques for the following:

• Overview and Impact of the proposed changes to ISO14001
• EMS audit planning and preparations
• Checklist and audit protocol development
• EMS/QMS audit integration
• Data collection processes for review and evaluation.

EMS Audit Case Study Workshop:
Our unique EMS audit case study will guide the participants through the "hands-on" experience of conducting and managing the audit process. Workshop topics include:

• Questioning techniques
• Due professional care and competence
• "Auditee" responses and reactions
• Management support
• Data and information collection processes
• EMS audit reporting and follow-up
• Presentation of audit findings and conclusions
