WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Specifically designed as qualification training for ISMS Team Leaders, Assessors, Management and Independent Assessment Personnel, and all those with defined responsibilities and authorities for the management, oversight, design, development, documentation, verification, and maintenance of DOE and contractor ISMS's.
COURSE PURPOSE:
An extensive overview and interpretation is presented from the guidance given in the draft ISMS Manual (DOE-M-450.4X), with hands on individual and group exercises related to the supporting protocol and requirements covered in the following:
- DOE-G-414.1-1A Management Assessment and Independent Assessment Guide
- DOE-HDBK-3027-99 ISMS Team Leader's Handbook
- DOE-G-450.4-1B ISMS Guide for use with Safety Management System Policies
- DEAR 970.5223-1 Integration of ES&H into work planning and execution
COURSE CURRICULUM:
Our unique and proven 5 step ISMS assessment case study workshop will cover the need to know strategies and techniques covering:
- Identification and description of site specific ESH&Q policy, requirements, regulations and orders.
- Planning, preparations and execution of the Phase 1 Assessment covering the 10 common quality assurance requirements of the ISMS.
- Feedback and improvement reporting with the development, planning and preparations for the Phase 2 ISMS Performance and Effectiveness Assessment.
- Comprehensive Phase 2 ISMS Performance and Effectiveness Assessment.
- ISMS Draft and Final Reporting, including corrective/preventive action, follow-up and feedback/improvement strategies for communication to management.
Our 4 1/2 day presentation includes all course materials, administration of the ISMS Lead Assessor Certification examination (optional) and certificates of course completion.
EXAMINATION:
FEE:
$17950.00 for up to 20 participants, which includes all student manuals, standards, orders, specifications, and class hand-outs. Fee is for course presented at the training facilities provided for by the customer. Conference room and accomodations may be provided upon request for cost plus 20%.
DAILY SCHEDULE: (4 1/2 Days)
8:00am - 4:40 pm Monday through Thursday; Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm.
